Description of Cleaning and Detailing Options:

OPTION #1 – General Clean

Hand wash interior and exterior and towel dry.  Use mildew remover if necessary in open areas. Clean glass and vacuum the open carpeted areas.  Does not include cleaning out or vacuuming storage areas.

OPTION #2 – Complete Exterior and Interior Detail

We hand clean the exterior and interior.  Exterior will be polished to help bring back the gloss of the gel coat, followed up with an application of wax to protect the finish. (Polishing and wax is to the edge of the hull just below the waterline.)  The upholstery is cleaned with a special foaming vinyl cleaner for a deep clean. Open carpeted areas will be cleaned with a professional carpet extractor. All storage areas will be wiped out if a fiberglass, vacuumed if carpeted.  Windows will be cleaned. Outdrive will be cleaned to the best of our abilities to remove the scale and lime deposits. For pontoons, we do no waxing, but we clean the tubes with an aluminum cleaner/brightener. The upholstery is cleaned with a special foaming vinyl cleaner for a deep clean. Open carpeted areas will be cleaned with a professional carpet extractor. All storage areas will be wiped out if a fiberglass, vacuumed if carpeted (if you have removed your personal items). Windows will be cleaned. Outdrive will be cleaned to the best of our abilities to remove the scale and lime deposits. For pontoons, we do no waxing, but we clean the tubes with an aluminum cleaner/brightener. Premier pontoon owners and Bennington owners with Shark Hide: we generally do not acid clean the tubes due to a special factory coating on the tubes: however, if the tubes are badly discolored or have algae building upon them, we can acid clean them, but it will remove the factory wax coating on them.

 

*** Boats that are very dirty and /or oxidized may require additional time and cleaning products to get them cleaned. We will give you an estimate first if your boat would require additional cleaning. When the finish is badly oxidized, we may not be able to get the boat back to its original color.  Also, it is likely that the boat will oxidize rather quickly again.

 

When having your boat cleaned please keep the following in mind:

  • Once your boat leaves our facility we cannot protect it from rain, wind, spiders, birds, bugs, leaves, etc.
  • Polishing and Waxing does create static electricity and will attract dust to the surface.
  • It does not take long for a clean boat to get dirty when sitting outside
  • If there’s a cover in the boat or PWC, we’ll cover it up when done.
  • Oiling or sealing teak wood is not included in detailing.  If you would like this done we can give you a separate estimate on the cost to do this type of work.

 

*Boat length- length of the boat is rounded up to the next foot, i.e., a 20’4” boat is rounded up to 21’.  We do not count the outdrive in the length; however, we do count the swim platform, slides, etc that may be extended off the stern or bow of the boat.  Add 2’ to the overall length for boats with trailers.
